Hello! Small little update here before the main push to complete v0.5.0 and the third region. This update comes with some new content changes that were added by my colleague Remo while I prepared art for the third region. Most of these additions are new perks, but we also have two new weapons: The Crossbow and the Gauntlet. I was also able to create simple idle animations for all of the playable characters. More details below:

• Made some minor content additions:
  • Added Crossbow weapon.
  • Added Magic Gauntlet Blaster weapon.
  • Added idle animations for all of the playable characters.

• Made balance changes:
  • Player can no longer dash while charging a ranged attack.

• Added several new perks:
  • Rapier
    • Bloodthirsty Blade
    • Cursed Sword
  • Magic Gauntlet Blaster
    • Bouncing Blast
    • Explosive Impact
    • Double Blast
  • Bow
    • Mobile Archer
  • Dagger
    • Cuts 
    • MEGA-crit

• Couple of minor bug fixes:
  • Fixed an issue preventing the keybindings menu from properly functioning.
  • Fixed an issue allowing interactable spots (like the upgrade spot) to be opened while in the pause menu.

• Several other unmentioned changes in preparation for the new region (Coming near end of March)

Our current goal is to have everything third region related completed by March 21st. That means that v0.5.0 will likely come before then, and the finishing touches for the region will be added up until that deadline. After that point, we will work on the fourth and final region. Hopefully, we will end up with about 4-5 months to polish the game before 1.0 release in December! Remo and I are working hard to see this to completion. I hope to see you at the finish line. Bye!
